No. We collect your media, confirm what's realistic, and agree on the price before any work begins.
It happens — some media is genuinely too far gone. You won't be charged for anything we couldn't recover.
It depends on the size of the batch and what shape it's in. We'll give you a realistic estimate up front rather than a guess.
Often, yes. Camcorder tapes, floppies, old drives, and stranger things turn up regularly. Ask and we'll tell you honestly whether we can help.
No — we come to you. There's no storefront to visit, so we handle pickup and drop-off across Galt, Lodi, Elk Grove, and Sacramento. If you're near that area, just ask.
Yes — custom builds, upgrades, and refurbished hardware are all part of the shop. Those are quoted per project.
There are no set hours to work around. Send a message whenever it suits you and we'll reply as soon as we can, then sort out a pickup time that works for both of us.
Everything runs on local pickup and drop-off, so there's a limit to how far we travel. If you're a little outside the usual range, ask anyway — it's often still workable.
