AREA 42 / REFERENCE LIBRARY
Claims, records
& evidence.
A readable, source-led guide to conspiracy claims, documented covert activity, disputed events, and unexplained reports. 684 dossiers across ten categories. Each one separates what's established from what's inferred, what's still uncertain, and what the evidence simply doesn't show.
A claim is not evidence. A real secret or historical conspiracy does not prove a different allegation.
HOW TO USE THE LIBRARY
Read the evidence in context.
Supported by primary records, reproducible observation, or multiple independent lines of evidence.
A record is incomplete or evidence is ambiguous. Uncertainty is stated without filling gaps with assumptions.
The allegation lacks reliable support, conflicts with stronger evidence, or makes predictions that do not hold up.
Dossiers distinguish real, documented conspiracies from unsupported expansions and purely speculative claims. Assessments can change when checkable evidence does.

SOURCE HYGIENE
What would change the assessment?
A strong claim should identify evidence that could count against it, preserve original material, and allow independent checking. A missing record can motivate further research; it cannot, by itself, establish who acted or why. Read citations for what they actually support, including their limits.
